Congratulations to last week's Paws for PRIDE winners: Logan Blaine, Amelia Yaworski, Kayla Sproehnle, Shane Steinbrecher, Olivia Miller, Ved Rajish, and Dominic Viviano.

These students were chosen at random to be recognized and celebrated for demonstrating one of our five character traits - Pride, Respect, Individual Responsibility, Determination & Empathy. Thank you to all of the Titus families for your support of our Paws for PRIDE program.

9/11 Heroes Run . . .

It's not too late to register for the 9/11 Heroes Run! The 5K and 1 mile race is set for September 27th this year at the Fonthill Museum with a great course through beautiful Doylestown Borough. Please join Central Bucks School District as they support this very worthy event. Registration is simple and easy, and students, families, and friends can register as a team and compete together. Each team can manage their runners and their team from their very own "page." Just visit their site for additional information.

Save the date - October 15th . . .

The Central Bucks Wellness Committee is collaborating with the Doylestown Food Co-Op and the CB Family & Consumer Sciences department to present a screening of the movie Fed Up followed by a panel discussion with local health professionals.

Sneaker Recycling . . .

Once again the iRun4Life Program will be collecting gently used shoes to recycle for reuse in a large, marked box outside the gymnasium starting this week. Please have your child drop off your donation at this location. Once a box is filled, Shoebox Recycling will deliver the shoes to communities around the world.

They will donate .50 per lb. to the iRun4Life program at our school. We will see you in the Spring when we start running!!!

Home & School Association:

Race For Education - Volunteers Needed . . .

Volunteers are needed to copy Race for Education labels and to fold, seal, and stamp RFE mailers. If you are interested, and can spare some time on September 29th or 30th, or October 7th, 8th or 9th please click here to see the available times.

A Home and School Representative will be on site during all volunteer times slots. Contact Wanda Rumford with any questions.

Harvest Breakfast . . .

Titus' Home & School Association will be hosting their annual Harvest Breakfast on Sunday, October 4th. Information was previously sent home, but can also be found on the HSA web site. It has become one of the premier events to welcome families - old and new - to another great year at Titus!

There Are Still Some Left . . .

We have a limited amount of Kidstuff books that will be on sale at the Harvest Breakfast on October 4th. The books cost $25 and Titus earns $12.50 from every book we sell.

Fall Book Fair is Coming . . .

Mark your calendar for the Home & School Fall Scholastic Book Fair! This year the book fair will be occurring October 12th thru the 15th, with evening hours on Monday, October 12th and Wednesday, October 14th. As in last year, there will also be some great gift baskets being raffled off - see below!

Once again, thanks to the generosity of Titus Home & School, each child will receive a $5 voucher toward the purchase of a book. It takes volunteers to pull everything together for the students that week, and we need your help. If you can spare some time to help out please visit our site on VolunteerSpot. Here you can see what time slots are available and sign up with one click.

For more information, including the students shopping schedule, please visit the Home and School Association web site.
