About Fritz Gautschi
Fritz Gautschi worked for more than 35 years as a manager of international business operations in countries such as Spain, Brazil, Switzerland, and Sweden. Over the course of his career, he spent time as a nuclear engineer at Westinghouse Nuclear Power Division and as an executive vice president of ABB USA. He finished his career in the role of president and chief executive officer of the United States-based joint venture between energy equipment and systems design specialists ABB and ALSTOM. Since retiring, Fritz Gautschi has concentrated his efforts on supporting nonprofit organizations such as the Paralyzed Veterans of America. He also contributes to the local Salvation Army and Smile Train, a group dedicated to providing cleft lip and palate surgeries to children.
Fritz Gautschi graduated cum laude from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich with a master of science in engineering. He later continued his education at the Harvard Business School in Vevey, Switzerland, completing the International Senior Managers Program (ISMP) in 1982. He continues to serve as a member of the Harvard Business School Club of New Hampshire.
