- COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Call Center: For those without access to a computer or the internet, a Los Angeles County Department of Public Health call center is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. to help schedule appointments at 833-540-0473. Individuals are encouraged to use the website http://www.publichealth.lacounty.gov/media/Coronavirus/vaccine/index.htm whenever possible to sign up for an appointment to avoid long wait times on the phone.

SAVE THE DATE: Parent University Workshop- Thursday, June 17 ,10:00 am "Summer 1-2-3 How do we prepare our children to go back to school next fall?" Presented by Young & Healthy: Play! When we are playing, we are most able to learn! What children need throughout the summer is 1. Opportunities to play, 2. Secure relationships with their caregiver, and 3. Self- Regulation skills. Need internet access? The Federal Communications Commission has launched a temporary program to help families and households struggling to afford Internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Emergency Broadband Benefit provides a discount of up to $50 per month toward broadband service for eligible households. Eligible households can enroll through a participating broadband provider or directly with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) using an online or mail in application. You can learn more about the benefit, including eligibility and enrollment information, by visiting www.fcc.gov/broadbandbenefit, or by calling 833-511-0311.
