DAIS Track Meet at Dallastown American Legion Field at Wildcat Stadium
SAVE THE DATE: May 26, 2016
Where? Dallastown American Legion Field at Wildcat Stadium at DAHS
What? DAIS Track Meet
The selection process for the DAIS Track Meet is a comprehensive effort that affords each student the opportunity to participate. All students are timed in the 50, 100, and 600 yard runs, as well as the standing broad jump, softball throw, and pull ups. From this data, approximately half of our entire student body will be chosen for the track team, where they will represent their specific floor. Testing typically begins in early to mid-September. All students attend the track meet to cheer on their classmates as they compete.

DAIS Chrome Technology
This school year DAIS will implement Chromebooks in the classroom. Students in grades 4 and 5 will have the opportunity to engage with technology through the integration of Chromebooks with a 2 to 1 ratio. Students in grade 6 will experience a 1 to 1 ratio with a 1 to World initiative. The purpose of this flyer is to provide parents/guardians an introduction to web-based Chrome technology at DAIS. Please join us September 24, 2015, for our first DAIS Parent/Guardian 1 to World Chrome Camp to learn more about our Chromebook and Google Chrome technology integration.
