Howdy Pardners!
The Cave Creek Saddle Club started 2013 in full swing!
Special thanks to Donna Russ for taking our club out to Camp Creek Falls. The magnificent seven that faced the 35 degree weather reported that although a little nippy, the ride was beautiful and all had a wonderful time.
The Valentines Ride brought out 19 riders and about 25 in all showed up for the pizza party held at the our Painted Sky Ranch. No one left hungry and it was great being with all my rodeo sweethearts! We had a surprise birthday party for Tom McConnell who turned 86 years young. He did a great job being our drag rider for the day! ThanksTom!
Our club meeting was held at the Heaven's Kaffee, where we were addressed by Larry Nelles, Master Horseman. Larry is with AZ Performance Horses, His topic regarding bits, bridles and headgear was very informative and his contribution to help us with our horses and mules was very much appreciated.
This was a treat for all of us, and we had a record 40 club members show up for the presentation! WOW....
As promised his contact information is:
