- Procedure going forward starting next week
4. Placement questions/concerns/issues
- Raven hasn't submitted application, but she was indisposed, so she'll correct that.
- Any questions/concerns?
- From Jay: "I have had a number of students show up unannounced to my conference room door (from the main hallway) looking for me. I am rarely in my office and, when I am, I am usually in a meeting. Please encourage students to e-mail me or to schedule an appointment with our office manager, Kari Mahannah. I want to give them each the time and attention they need, and pop-in visits don't afford me that chance."
5. Writing Art! (about 10-15 min)
- This is an "up and about" activity.
- Share your art piece with about 5 classmates.
- Explain your process and your art.
- You may choose to explain your art process, and what that was like for you.
- When finished, you may choose to stay where you are or go back to your original seat.
- On a separate piece of paper or on a device, consider 2-4 people that could make good partners for you, based on your own writing process and project process, and their writing process and project process.
- We will NOT be making decisions today, but based on time, we may share out. Keep your short list of people for the near future!
