The theme of How The Grinch Stole Christmas
The theme of How The Grinch Stole Christmas is you don't need presents to be happy. The first detail is "Every Who down in Whoville, the tall and the small, was singing. Without any presents at all! This is because even though they had no presents they were able to still be happy on Christmas. Our second detail is "Then the Whos down in Whoville will cry boohoo It started in low. Then it started to grow. But the sound wasn't sad. Why, this sound sounded merry." This supports the theme because even though all of their present were stolen they were all still happy. The final detail is "It came Somehow or other it came just the same." We chose this because they did not have any present but chrishmas went on as normal. These are the three details we chose for the theme of How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
