The scientific revolution

WHAT WAS THE CHANGE OF THE SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTION
It began in astronomy. Science had replaced Christianity as the focus point of European civilization. A new view of nature emerged replacing the Greek view. The scientific revolution changed the way people thought about the physical world around them. This led scientists to question traditional beliefs about the workings of the universe. It uses observation and experimentation to explain theories on the workings of the universe .
WHO WERE THE PEOPLE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CHANGE?
Nicolaus Copernicus proposed that earth and other planets revolve around the sun, not around earth. This radically changed Europe's concept of the universe and laid the foundation for modern history. Galileo Galilei was one of the most influencial scientists that improved the telescope and made observations about the moon and solar system. He also created the Law of Inertia and perfected the scientific method. Issac Newton created many scientific breakthroughs in physics. He discovered and explained the theory of gravity. He studied the physics of motion, light, and heat. He created calculus to prove his theories.

Nicolaus Copernicus
He was the first to propound a comprehensive heliocentric theory.
Galileo Galilei
Galileo invented the Dutch lens grinders to lock towards the heavens.
Issac Newton
Issac created calculus to prove his theories like gravity.
HOW DID THE CHANGE IMPACT SOCIETY AT THE TIME?
Astronomy: platonic instrumentalism,Copernicus asserted that to be satisfactory, astronomy must describe the real physical system of the world. Physics: removing the earth from the centre destroyed the doctrine of natural motion and place and circular motion of the earth was incompatible with Aristotelian physics. Chemistry: chemistry had manifold origins coming from such diverse sources as philosophy, alchemy, metaliurgy ,and medicene.
HOW IS THAT CHANGE EVIDENCED IN TODAY'S MODERN SOCIETY?
The scientific theory has affected the world in our society. Overtime they have revolutionized communication and transportation. It has increased beyond calculation the power and wealth available to society and those who control and experience its benefits. To this day , people use the scientific method to use as a guide to give them an idea on how the world works. Scientists use the tools back then and still improve them to learn and observe new things about the universe.
