Halloween
In keeping with the AIS healthy food policy, I'd like to keep our classroom celebration less of a sugar festival and more of a time to show "snack creativity". I've posted a link here that seemed to have some great ideas: https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?rs=ac&len=2&q=halloween+healthy+snacks+for+kids&term_meta%5B%5D=halloween+healthy+snacks+for+kids%7Cautocomplete%7C4
Any treats should come to school in the morning with your child.
Notes and Reminders
Please remember that cupcakes, cakes cookies and biscuits and nutella sandwiches, chips and fast food (McDonald's etc.) are not permitted at school. I have seen an increase in this type of food over the past week and am quite surprised. Please help your child to have a great day of learning by providing healthy snacks and lunches.

Guidance
This week, students were instructed to balance a balloon in a small group, while shifting it from one lily pad to the next. This was a great opportunity to practice teamwork.
