Comet Communication - October 7th

Phone calls at the end of the School Day

Our main office is a very busy place, particularly at the end of the school day. We would like to ask that if you need to call and provide after school instructions to your child, please do so prior to 1:00pm. We understand that occasionally there will be an abrupt change of plans that need to be communicated and we will do our best to accommodate those requests.

Health Heroes - Flu Shot Clinic - Oct. 22nd

Once again we will be hosting a flu shot clinic at Coloma Community Schools. We will be sending home consent forms for families that wish to receive the immunization here at school. The clinic is scheduled for October 22nd, be sure to turn in consent forms to the main office.

Meet Our Teachers - Rebecca Selvidge

Mrs. Selvidge is our Director of Choirs for Coloma Community Schools. She currently teaches in the Intermediate, Junior High and High School. She attended both The American Musical and Dramatic Academy NY and earned a Professional Certificate of Performance, as well as Western Michigan University for her Bachelor of Music (Choral Education), and University of South Florida for her Master of Arts in Music Education.

Mrs. Selvidge loves teaching in Coloma because of the students. "They are eclectic and excited about trying new things. I love exploring music with them and seeing how music can influence them for the rest of their lives." Outside of school Mrs. Selvidge enjoys spending time with family. Together they enjoy the beach, museums, and traveling. She also continues to sing with the Lake Effect Jazz Big Band and directs a community choir for all ages.
