Holiday Service Project
"Not what we say about our blessings, but how we USE them is the true measure of our Thanksgiving." -WT Purkiser
During the months of November and December, we will be joining Miss Abby's preschoolers in collecting pajamas for their annual Pajama Drive. We will be pairing the pjs with books we purchase using Scholastic bonus points to give the gifts of comfy pjs and a bedtime story to the children in our county in the foster care system. This is a great opportunity for the Jungle Crew to take ownership of this project. Ideas include doing extra chores around the house to earn money to purchase pajamas or simply just use their own money to buy some. With our trait focus of empathy, this is the perfect time to kick off a project like this! PJs can be sent to school any time before Christmas break.
