October 12, 2018,
Hello Lakeview Families!
The change in weather definitely signifies that we have moved into the next part of our school year. The curriculum is ramping up and our students are rising to the occasion! I can't tell you how much we all enjoy watching their "light bulb" moments.
**As a reminder please be sure to label jackets and coats. Our lost and found is already filling up.
Have a great weekend!

New Program - Lakeview Littles
This year we will begin the “Lakeview Littles” program in the library. The Littles program is for any four- or five-year-old child that will be attending kindergarten at Lakeview Elementary during the 2019-2020 school year. The program is meant to provide incoming kindergarteners with an opportunity to be a part of the school prior to entrance. Your child will engage in storytime in the library and get to visit a different specials class to participate in a lesson. Your child will also be able to check-out a book from the library. The Littles program will take place on the last Friday of each month, beginning in October, from 7:50 am to 9:00 am. Parents must be able to attend with their child. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Conklin at heather.conklin@nisdtx.org.
