A Message from the Principals
Dear Millbridge Families,
We look forward to seeing all of your children next week whether in person or remotely. This summer we have had successes as well as challenges, yet despite all, we continued the work to ensure the safety, social, emotional health, and educational needs of our students. I would like to thank our hard-working and caring staff who have been here this week putting in hours to make a difference in your children’s lives. Their commitment is outstanding and our kids are the beneficiaries.
We know this year returning to school will come with some different procedures and protocols in order to keep everyone safe and healthy. We know some of you have chosen to have your children learn from home. No matter which program you have chosen, your children will be supported by our teachers through a learning management system called CANVAS. This will enable your child to stay connected to his/her teacher and classmates when learning from home on those remote days as well as continue to have some flexibility. CANVAS does not need to be downloaded, it is a website. This can be used on most devices.
Thank you in advance, for all your support that you demonstrate for your students as well as the Millbrdige family. Please continue to refer to the school website for more information.

Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Murphy

Single Session Days
Water Bottles and Beach Towels
Also, students may bring a beach towel in their backpack. Teachers may be taking their classes outside for lessons and we may even have picnic lunches sometimes.
Wristbands
Please be sure to wear the colored wrist band that will be in the envelope from your child’s teacher. This will help us ensure they get to their class quickly on the first few days of school.
Masks
Please consider sending in an extra mask or two in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child's name.
All classrooms have disposable masks available to use as needed, but we have found children are more comfortable wearing their own things.
Arrival and Dismissal
Student drop-off begins at 8:50 AM after the first bell rings. Preschool and Kindergarten will enter through door #19 located directly after the bus loop. First grade will enter through the main entrance and Second grade will enter through the gym doors, #2. Parents should not gather in or around the school building. Please help us ensure a safe and orderly arrival by dropping off your child quickly.
Dismissal will begin at 3:20 PM, at which time all students will be escorted to the area designated for parent pickup, placed on their bus, or sent to Prime Time. For parents picking their child up, you will need to present government-issued identification or Fast Pass and sign your child out.
FAST PASS Information
If you had your photo taken and completed the Family ID application for a FAST PASS, we will give this to you at dismissal. We cannot distribute the FAST PASS until this is complete.
If you will be picking your child up regularly, please consider signing up for a Fast Pass. We will take Fast Pass pictures again on September 22nd for the Rancocas group and September 24th after dismissal.
Material Pick-Up
If your child is participating in the 100% remote program, please come to Millbridge on Wednesday, September 9th between 5:00 and 6:30 pm. We will have a bag of materials for your child to enable them to complete assignments on paper in addition to the computer. We will hold material pick-up events at the start of each trimester.
Please use the bus loop and pull up near the cafeteria entrance, where the doors will be open. Masks MUST be worn while on school grounds.
