Our District Promise
Every student in the Stanwood-Camano School District is empowered to learn in an inclusive setting and is prepared for the future of their choice.
Hello families!
Thank you for an amazing first week and the support you gave your child and our staff. So many great things were happening around the building as we get started for the new year.
Our new drop-off and pick-up procedures are up and going -- and improving each day! Your patience, questions, and feedback led to a great rollout of these routines. Here are a couple of reminders to help keep these processes smooth and safe:
- Please don’t drop off student until 8:40. We do not have adult supervision until this time.
- Student dismissal is at 3:30. We do not have a staggered dismissal.
- In our car pick-up out front, please stay in your car while you wait for your child.
- If you choose to park in our north lot and walk to get your child, please use the crosswalk. Also, students should not walk to or from cars without a grown up. We don’t have staff in this area to supervise.
- Just a reminder that we ask for no dogs during drop-off and pick-up.
Thank you,
Kimberly Caldwell
Principal

Menus and more!
Families can find breakfast and lunch menus for September and meal prices on our Food Services webpage and via the Menu button at the top of each school website.
We encourage families to submit a Free and Reduced Meal application. We recommend applications be completed online via Skyward Family Access by clicking the Food Service tab and then Applications to begin.
Students and families who qualify for Free and Reduced Meals don't just see benefits on food. They qualify for a host of other benefits, including reduced Snohomish County PUD bills, reduced YMCA membership costs, and much more.
Read about the other benefits HERE.
Visitors and volunteers
Just a quick reminder that all our building doors are locked during school hours. Visitors must use the button near the front doors to ring the office staff to be let in. All visitors then need to check in at school offices.
We're excited to see so many people register to volunteer in our school so far! And it's not too late to sign-up and help in classrooms, lunchrooms, libraries, and more. Just use our simple, new online form at www.stanwood.wednet.edu/volunteer.
Help us honor our staff
Nominations are now open for our monthly awards! Please let us know about the extraordinary work our staff is doing by completing our simple form on our Employee Recognition Program webpage.
You can nominate a staff member for Classified or Certificated Employee of the Month. Heritage Bank is a proud sponsor of the employee recognition program in partnership with Stanwood and Camano Island area businesses.
You can read about previous honorees HERE.
