We need YOU! Volunteers wanted!
Once the school year gets going we love to have volunteers for our program. Many families like to help on field trips, with projects in the classroom, and so many other opportunities. In order to volunteer with PPS you must complete the steps outlined on their website here. If you have any questions please talk to your Family Service Worker, Community Agent, or classroom team!

WIC-helping families pay for healthy foods!
Do you have a child under age 5, or are a pregnant parent?
You may be eligible for WIC!
WIC is a free program that can help families with paying for healthy foods, and is a great resource for any nutrition or growth topics you would like to learn about.
Parent Policy Council
Parent Policy Council
Parent Policy Council is a large part of the governance of our program. All parents are invited to attend, and each classroom will vote on 1-2 representatives to vote on agenda items throughout the year. This is a great chance for you to get involved with our program and give feedback to help us deliver the best services we can. You will learn more during your school's Open House, more information to come!
Below are the minutes from our meeting last June, as well as the Director's report that was shared. We hope to see you in October for our Policy Council training!

Extra Clothes Needed!
We need extra clothing for children to keep at our sites in case of accidents. If you have any clothing your children have outgrown please consider donating to your site so that all kids can have a change of clothes when needed. Also, if your child uses their change of clothing don't forget to wash and bring it back to school! Connect with your Family Service Worker or Community Agent if you would like to donate!
