Leaders Are Readers

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14 at 3:00 p.m.

We want to invite all PreK through 2nd Graders to join our 8th Graders for Leaders Are Readers via Google Meet, a literacy reading program designed just for them. Parents may log in their young scholars that day at 3:00 p.m. here:

Mrs. Rivas and Mrs. Sypole will be our teacher moderators. We will offer the program twice per month. 8th Graders can earn Confirmation service hours for their participation. For more information, please email Mrs. Gonzalez at EGonzalez@stannschoollansing.org.

School Picture Day

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15

Please have your students dress in Sunday best attire. Order forms came home this week and should be PREPAID only to protect students and staff. You can easily order and pay online by visiting the Van Gogh School Photographers website. Our School Code is 20031601. Or you may call 847-382-2282 x7 and use that same code. Then there's no need to send anything else with your children on Picture Day--well except for their smiles, of course!

Dress Down Day

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16

All students who have been complying with dress code will earn a free dress down day in honor of breast cancer awareness.

Let's celebrate Mass together at a safe social distance outside! Cars may enter through the 181st Street entrance (near the back of church) beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please wear a mask and remain in your vehicle. Tune your radio to 89.9 FM for the broadcast. Hand sanitizer and Communion will be brought to you in your car. Please reserve your spot beginning October 11 by calling the Parish Office at 895-6700 or by registering at https://bit.ly/StAnnMassReservation

Town Hall Meetings

Our four Town Hall Meetings last week were very productive, and we received lots of helpful feedback from our parishioners that we brought to our next grouping session. If you would like to watch a video of the virtual Town Hall, you may find it here: https://youtu.be/OECzF8H6FRQ
