Back to School Night!
Check out the schedule for Back to School Night! We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday from 5-7. It's a time to see classrooms, meet teachers, attend informational sessions, and network with other independent study families early in the year. We hope you can make it!
2022-2023 ASB Officer Speeches and Voting
Each year, MEA students in 6th-12th grade have the opportunity to vote for the school year’s ASB officers. All candidates running for officer positions will be delivering speeches this Thursday, September 15th, from 12:00-12:30pm in the auditorium. Voting will take place online: 22-23 ASB Officer Ballot. The ballot will open after the speeches conclude and close at midnight on Wednesday, September 21st. Support your MEA community by listening to speeches this week! Exercise your right to vote and make your voice heard this school year!

If you would like to lead a new or existing club, please complete this application and return it to Ms. Rice in Room B-16: MEA Student Affiliation Application Then please come to the Club Fair to tell everyone all about it!
This year, SDUSD will offer the PSAT for all 11th graders free of charge. MEA 11th graders wishing to take the PSAT should go to the front office to sign up and get a Student Guide with Practice Test. The test will be at MEA on October 12 for 11th graders only.
Non 11th graders wishing to take the PSAT will have an opportunity to take it at a district sponsored site on another day for an $18 fee. Those interested should sign up at: PSAT sign up for non-11th graders.
The MEA Foundation is looking for a few volunteers during 2022-2023 school year. Here's a quick overview of some key positions for the Foundation. Looking forward to serving Mt. Everest Academy.
Math Counts (Middle School)
Students enrolled in grades 6-8 who enjoy math and challenging problems are welcome to come and join the MATHCOUNTS Club on Thursdays from 2-3 in the Parent Room. The club will conclude with the MATHCOUNTS Competition Series which will be held online in early 2023 (it usually happens at the end of February.)

Ally Action will kick off this Thursday in the auditorium! We will be meeting Thursdays weeks one and three from 3:05-3:50. All middle and high school students are welcome! Ally Action is dedicated to making Mt. Everest an inclusive environment for everyone.
