12/18 Last day to register for January PSAT if you didn't test in October (sophomores)

1/6-1/11 Mrs. Faysash visits sophomore English classes to view and discuss PSAT results

2/17 ASVAB test for 10th, 11th, 12th graders (sign up with Mrs. Faysash by 2/6/2021)

2/25 District College and Career Fair (virtual) from 6-8 p.m. More details to come.

4/27 FREE SAT School Day Test (Juniors)

We would love students and parents join us for our Pasco County Schools 2021 Virtual College and Career Fair! We will host this event on Thursday, February 25th from 5-8 pm. The first hour will feature a series of recorded presentations from schools. The final two hours from 6-8 pm will give students and parents the opportunity to attend individual college and university breakout rooms for question and answer sessions. We will also be hosting presentations for several general college topics including applications, essays, financial aid, Bright Futures and more! This event is open to all middle and high school students in Pasco County. We hope you can join us in helping students become college and career ready!

Class of 2021 Pasco Education Foundation Scholarship Application Now Open!

Seniors, apply for over 50 local scholarships with one application! Last year Pasco Education Foundation awarded over 120 local seniors with college scholarships (including several from WCHS!). Apply between now and January 31st to be considered. Please see me if you need assistance. Good luck!

WIthlacoochee River Electric $11K Scholarship Now Open!

This four year scholarship is available to students who have at least a 2.0 GPA and will be attending a Florida post-secondary school. Last year ten WCHS students received this generous award! Applications are due March 26th.

PHSC Application Fee Waivers for ALL STUDENTS!!

All Juniors will be automatically registered to take a FREE college-reportable SAT at school on April 27th. If you will need accommodations for this test, you must fill out a request form and turn it in to Mrs. Faysash by February 15th.

FREE Practice for SAT Testing/KHAN ACADEMY

Khan Academy and College Board have developed a partnership to help students prep and practice for the SAT for FREE. The Khan program includes personalized recommendations and ten official timed SAT practice tests!

The PSAT will be offered on Tuesday, January 26th at WCHS to sophomores who were not able to take the October test. MSOL and Traditional students who missed the October date are all eligible to test but must register by DECEMBER 18th. To reserve your spot, please email Mrs. Faysash at kfaysash@pasco.k12.fl.us.
