FROM THE DESK OF MS. TAYLOR AND MR. RODRIGUEZ
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. We are thrilled to start the school year on Monday, August 29th. If you are new to ESTLA we are excited to get to know you and your student. We hope this summer has been a relaxing one for your family and that you are getting ready for the start of the school. We are looking forward to a year full of growth.
Begining September, you will be receiving a monthly newsletter from us highlighting events and recognizing the great things our students and staff are accomplishing. If we have time sensitive information, you will receive a text message via Talking Points from your teachers, and emails & text messages from us.
All students will be greeted by ESTLA staff upon arriving on Monday and will be directed to the auditorium, where will kick off our 2022-2023 school year! Students and families can access schedule via the Home Access Center (HAC).
Please be sure to visit our webpage at https://www.nasd.k12.pa.us/Page/25 in order to stay informed or send us a note of community resources we need to share with our families!

Healthy News
If you have a student entering 7th grade for the 2022-2023 school year they will be required to have proof of all immunizations including Tdap (Tetanus) and MCV4 (Meningitis) vaccines with the nurse. If they do not have proof of all immunizations they will not be allowed to attend school until proof of vaccination is received. All students that do not have proof of vaccination with the nurse have already been sent multiple messages.
If you have a student entering 6th grade they will be required to have a physical examination with their medical provider during the 2022-2023 school year. Please be sure they receive the Tdap and MCV4 vaccinations required for 7th grade at this appointment. This physical can be dated as far back as July 1, 2021. Please provide any paperwork from your provider as proof.
If you have a student entering any grade and they are not in compliance with a state mandated vaccine they will not be allowed to attend school until proof of vaccination is received.
