Stop by throughout the day to decorate a tile that will be mounted on a hallway bulletin board. Draw a fun picture, create an interesting design, or write an inspirational message. Leave your mark!

ParentVue 101: Receive support to register and navigate ParentVue. This platform has information about your child’s grades and overall academic progress. Spanish translation will be available.

What is Eureka Math? Participate in a mini lesson to experience how this dynamic and creative math curriculum empowers students and teachers to think like mathematicians.
10:15 - 10:50
Understanding Restorative Justice: Participate in a Restorative Justice Circle to gain understanding of how this process supports the development and maintenance of a healthy school community. Spanish translation will be available.
11:00 - 11:45
Principal’s Coffee: Participate in a discussion with Mr. Alter and Ms.TC to review recently collected data and participate in an informal conversation.
11:30 - 12:30
Open Lab to Complete Volunteer Compliance Modules: Receive support to complete the MCPS modules necessary to volunteer for some school activities and for field trips.
12:30 - 1:00
Getting to know MAP Test Basics: Explore this assessment that is a foundational part of gaging student progress in math and reading throughout the elementary years. Participants will see demonstration versions of the test and discuss how teachers may use the data and information when planning.

Parent Pause: Experience mindfulness practices that can increase the ability to calmly respond to challenges and reduce anxiety. Spanish translation will be available.

School Improvement Plan: A high-level review of Beall’s SIP and brief discussion of how it serves as the instrument to implement the vision and mission of a school.
