EOY Proceedures
First and foremost, thank you all for the very warm welcome to the Troy City School District. It has been such a pleasure getting to know everyone!
As the end of the 15-16 school year is upon us, it is important that the we secure all of the district’s technology. Below is a link to the EOY (end of year) Technology Checkout. Please be sure to complete all elements included in this EOY Checkout survey by the end of the day on Wednesday 6/22. If you would like a hard copy of the survey, please see your building technology liaison.
The survey includes a checklist for:
Securing all technology accessories remotes, pens wireless keyboards and mice, etc.
Turning in all mobile technology (laptops, chromebooks, iPads, etc.) to your building technology liaisons. All special education technology should be turned into building psychologists. If you currently have a district mobile device and are doing summer work for the district, you may sign out that device for the summer after the annual maintenance has been completed. Please email Geoff or Darryl to arrange pickup of the devices.
Annual clean out/organization of network drives, and emails- deleting unneeded files
Information about classroom moves
Completing a technology department feedback survey on how we did this year and how we can better help to meet your needs in future years.

Not included in the survey is what to do with shared carts of mobile technology- If you host a shared cart in your room, please wheel it to the library for inventory maintenance this summer. Additionally if you would like to request the removal of technology or addition of technology (like a student station- no software or major items) please put in a technology help ticket for review this summer.
If you have any questions about the survey or any of the information in this email, please reach out to your building technology liaison directly.
I look forward to working with you all in the future! Have a great summer!
