Book Club Reads Fahrenheit 451

The book club read and discussed the book Fahrenheit 451. The club's membership is up to 33 members. At our next meeting, each member will share what literary work he or she would memorize to save the piece from destruction and why that work is his or her choice. We will create a bulletin board highlighting our choices.

Please stop in to add your choice to our board. Future meeting will be on Wednesday, February 3, and Wednesday, February 17, during lunch periods in the library. The 9th/10th grade group is watching the 1958 film Les Miserables and the 11th/12th grade group is reading Julius Caesar. Feel free to join us!

Library Website Goes Live on February 1st

The new library website will go public on February 1st. Students will receive an email making the announcement along with the link and QR code. Please encourage your students to visit the website. My hope is that the website will guide you and your students to resources that are more scholarly and higher quality than just "googling" it.

Also, there is a place for students to submit a book review for a monthly prize. Click the button below to check the website out.
