Happy Happy Happy Happy Happy
Few professions have time to reflect
We have enough time coming up to let go of things, even forget things, and get a good night's sleep.
As you reflect over New Year's, let me put a bug in your ear: what you do is important. It may be a bit too intense, a bit too much, a bit too repetitive, a bit too away from adults, but... and this is a big but... what you do changes lives.
If you ever wonder, stop and listen. That's key to what you do: understanding students and then giving them challenges to grow. Parents feel we know their children. Thank You.
May your break be Merry and Bright.
Cheers,
Thad

Tenured Standard - final observation and review of artifacts for domains 1 & 4 due end of March.
Behaviors - Hallway, Recess, and Classroom. Each teacher is different. That being said, we need all students to have proper behavior when they are away from their teacher. Easier said than done. What I don't want to see are classroom teachers arguing with students from other classrooms. Remind students of expectations, be firm. If the students need more, report them to their teachers or BIAs.
