An Interview With Ms. Birch

Talk About A Job Well Done...

Ms. Birch is an excellent U.S History teacher. She grew up as a military kid, therefore traveled a lot between the U.S and Germany. She was born in Germany but later moved to the U.S with her family to the Dallas-Forth Worth area. She lived there ever since, until last summer when she moved to the Austin area.

Ms. Birch got her bachelors and masters degree in History at Texas Woman's University. She has been teaching at Elgin High School for 2 years and is also teaching a dual credit class at ACC. Before she started teaching at Elgin she taught at Texas Woman's University, from which she graduated, Tarrant County College, North Lake College, and Mansfield ISD. Ms. Birch's inspiration to become a History teacher was her professor in college. She is a very inspiring teacher herself.
