Welcome to Band!

Thank you for coming to instrument selection recently. We are excited to have your child in band next year. Most of you indicated that your child would be available to start on their instrument in our free August class called "Band Starts Now!". We will take care of registering them. Below is more information about this class and other important items.

How do I register for Band Starts Now!?

That's easy-we'll do it for you! We will be automatically enrolling all incoming 6th grade students registered for band in this class.

**If your student will be unable to join us, please let us know**

Need Equipment?

At this point you should have made arrangements for an instrument for your child. If you haven't done this yet..no worries, but please act soon by contacting Ward-Brodt. Just visit www.wardbrodt.com and follow the "rent now" link under the menu to set up your rental and supply purchase. You may also contact Rob Smith at 661-8633 to complete this process. Tuba and euphonium players should plan on renting their instruments from the school but still need to contact Ward Brodt to purchase supplies.

Please let us know if we can assist you with acquiring supplies for your student as we do not want finances to prevent anyone from joining band.

What is Band Starts Now!?

Band Starts Now! is a class that meets five days for an hour and a half. Students will meet in like-instrument classes to learn the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to play the instrument. The classes have a well designed curriculum rich with games and activities essential to the students first steps on their instrument.
