CHRIST THE KING SCHOOL NEWS NOTES
December 15, 2015
CASH FOR CANS
EARLY DISMISSAL FRIDAY 1:15 p.m. and NO EDP
FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL...
It is a very special time of year! It is one of waiting and watching for our Savior. Many things often get in our way of seeing Christ. Our days are full of preparing for Christmas, and we can easily get overwhelmed with shopping, sending cards, and attending many events. It can be a struggle to stay focused on the importance of the season. It can also be difficult to be patient and loving with others. God puts trials before us to give us opportunities to live our faith. When we are stressed or irritated, it can get in the way of doing what is right - treating others with kindness and serving those who are in need.
I’d like to take a moment to pray for strength and understanding for us all. I pray that I will keep focus on what is truly important. It is okay that my tree isn’t decorated yet or that all the gifts are not purchased, but I pray I will appreciate every moment with my family and friends. I pray that any stress or tension will subside, and that we will all have a relaxing Christmas break. I pray your Christmas will truly be blessed by the Holy Spirit and give you opportunities, not only to receive God’s love, but to extend it to others along your path.
God Bless you all and Merry Christmas!
