Vaccines Options for Children ages 5 -11
Option 1: Pop-up Pfizer Vaccine Clinic on Saturday, December 18th, 2021(McDonald's parking lot @ 7734 Wise Avenue Dundalk, MD 21222)
There will be limited availability for walk-ins and the clinic is open from 10am - 4pm. It is strongly encouraged that you register in advance by scanning the QR Code on this flyer with your smartphone and following the link/webpage that appears to confirm a specific time that is available. Simply open your camera app and focus on the grey and black box icon. You'll usually see corners appear around it and a link will pop-up for you to click on. Open it, and you'll be taken to a page where you can simply select a time slot to attend on this particular day only. It will tell you how many slots are available for a given time. If your smartphone's camera is unresponsive, you can download a QR Code Scanner tool from your phone's app store and simply repeat these steps with the app instead of your camera.
Option 2: Additional Walk-in Pfizer Pop-up Clinics in December 2021 (McDonald's parking lot @ 7734 Wise Avenue Dundalk, MD 21222)
These clinics are similar to option 1, but there is no pre-registration, so only walk-ins are accepted. Click here for a flyer that describes all the details. All of these clinics run from 10am - 4pm at the same McDonalds parking lot on Wise Ave on the following dates:
- Sunday, December 19th
- Monday, December 27th (no school due to winter break)
- Tuesday, December 28th (no school due to winter break)
- Wednesday, December 29th (no school due to winter break)
- Thursday, December 30th (no school due to winter break)
Option 3: Visit CDC vaccine finder website and look for nearby vaccine & booster clinics that are most convenient for you (for children and adults)
Click here to be taken to a CDC web tool in English that allows you to search for any form of COVID vaccines or boosters by location, approved age range, and vaccine type (e.g. Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson). Pick the vaccine clinic that is most convenient for you and select from the dates available to see a pop-up of the available times within the date you choose. Locations are primarily focused on local pharmacies and venues that include pharmacies (e.g. supermarkets, department stores, etc.).
Option 4: Visit the Baltimore County Vaccine Hub to find local vaccine clinics that are most convenient for you (for children and adults)
Click here to be taken to a website courtesy of the Baltimore County Government that lists local vaccines in the county by date, location, vaccine type, and approved age-ranges. Simply scroll down the page until you find the section titled "Vaccine appointments" for a corresponding time period. If a particular vaccine clinic has a link to schedule appointments, click on it to select a time. Available vaccine clinics will be updated over time. Locations may include malls, shopping centers, community centers, health centers, and schools.
