Paws for PRIDE
Congratulations to last week’s Paws for PRIDE winners: Daniel P, Mrs. Byrne, Zach P, Michelle L, Shay S, Dylan W, Bella O, Taylor S, and Miss Brennan’s 5th grade class.
Students, classes, and teachers are chosen at random to be recognized and celebrated for demonstrating one of our five character traits - Pride, Respect, Individual Responsibility, Determination and Empathy. Thank you to all of the Titus families for your support of our Paws for PRIDE program.
Dress for the Weather
Don't forget, as we are now in the colder months of the year, please dress appropriately for recess outside. Hats, gloves, coats, etc. are all important as we will be outdoors as long as the weather allows.

Read Across Titus - Book Swap
Each year Titus families donate gently used books to the school. Teachers work to sort and organize them for the book swap on Read Across Titus Day. On Read Across Titus Day, students in all grades are invited to the swap to shop for some new titles to add to their own collections. In the past we’ve collected thousands of books for the celebration. Please read the attached flyer to learn more about this special event on Monday, March 2.

Community Connections
Dear Titus Elementary School Families,
Please join me in the Titus library on January 21st from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. for this school year’s first “Community Connections” meeting.
Last year, we initiated these meetings in order to encourage frank conversations about a shared vision for the future of our schools. I was grateful for the feedback and ideas that our families shared and I look forward to this year’s sessions! I hope you can find time to attend.
A video introduction may be seen on the website at www.cbsd.org/communityconnections.
Stay Well,

One month in, here are the standings:

The Home & School Association is forming a committee to begin work this spring on Winter Enrichment Program for the 2020 – 2021 school year. Volunteers are needed for approximately 1 hour per month (April through October) to help plan the activities for students and contact vendors.
