A new school year means a new year of Interact Club activities and actions! Clark’s Interact Club is focused on local community empowerment and fundraising for various causes, while also providing multiple opportunities for students to earn service hours. Interact’s first meeting will take place on Monday, August 23rd, beginning at 12:30 in the Dome – yes, during lunchtime. Hope to see you there!

Don’t forget, all service hours must be entered through Focus. See Ms. Jones with questions.

Kilwins is hiring! See the attached flyer. Remember, though, school comes first! Including student activities!

Pre-order your yearbook now to get the lowest price of the year! The price is $65. Head to to order your copy today. Prices increase after 9/10. There is no guarantee that you will be able to purchase a book when it comes in if you do not pre-order one, so don't miss out on your chance to get a copy of this year's book!

Tee shirt and hoodie sales continue through next Friday. We ran into a glitch with sample sizes, so if you order and it is too small or too large, we can re-order for you. We don’t want anyone to be without when we have spirit days!

Every day is a celebration!

Enjoy those recognized and celebrated this week and make sure to submit your good news through the following link: or email

Make a Difference Mondays!

Today we celebrate senior, Roman Woodcock, who earned his Eagle Scout and his project will really make a difference in our local community. First Baptist Jensen Beach launched a new Special Needs program in April 2021. Roman built the sensory area for the children to de-escalate in when they are overstimulated. Great work, Roman and congrats!

Take Care Tuesdays!

The way you start your morning can set a course for the rest of the day. Make sure you wake up and put a smile and positive thoughts into your morning routine. It’s an easy way to feel good all day long!

Way to Go Wednesdays!

Today we want to recognize junior Lauren Cioffi who is a standout basketball player on the JBHS team. This summer, Lauren traveled to several tournaments and continued to be noticed for her talents on the court. We are also pretty impressed with her talents here in the classroom too! Way to represent Clark on and off the court, Lauren!

Thankful Thursdays!

Thankful Thursday! The Mann family shared that they are “So very thankful for Clark Advanced Learning Center! Such a blessing of a school!” An attitude of gratitude makes the world a much happier place!

Fun Fact Fridays!

Today’s fun fact is that Dr. Judd, our Assistant Principal, and Mr. Judd, our history teacher, are not related in any way! However, both do enjoy traveling and sports of all kinds.

Handbook Highlight

If you are scheduled for a class, you MUST follow these procedures to be excused and leave campus for ANY reason. Page 11

Early Dismissal from a Scheduled Class If the student must leave campus before the end of his/her scheduled school day, the following steps must be taken: 1. See Student Services in Room 218. 2. Student Services contacts parent/guardian to obtain permission to leave early. 3. Upon receiving permission, student and parent must sign out in the log book located at the front desk. Before a student can be released to anyone, authorization must be verified through Student Services. Students scheduled to be in a class in the Clark building are NEVER to leave the building without the knowledge of a Clark employee.

Big picture

Detentions for tardiness begin this week!

Way too many students have been late to classes this week. Please plan accordingly to be able to face any traffic issues, busy parking lot, and getting to your classrooms.

Don't forget, we start promptly at 7:50 am with the state mandated moment of silence, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and announcements. Students will not be permitted into class until those are done and you should be quiet and respectful throughout.
