The Weekly Update #4

Dear South School Village,

Later today, the HPS will put out a special communication to all families in the district concerning the release of data from the 22-23 school year that the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education just released at noon today.

We want you to hear this great news from us directly! South School earned the distinct honor of being named a School of Recognition. We are one of 65 schools out of 1,830 to be recognized in the Commonwealth!

This means that we are an elementary school that is being recognized for demonstrating high achievement and high growth and meeting or exceeding state targets. South Elementary School earned 100% for its progress toward improvement targets and 99% for its accountability performance!!! This means we are achieving above 99 percent of schools!

Congratulations to the entire VILLAGE!!! We are beyond proud!!! We always say, “Teamwork makes the dream work!!!” Every single person who works at South gives their ALL each and every day for the best interests of the students. Add to that all of you, our incredibly supportive families, and you have an amazing environment for all of us!!! The entire South School Village deserves great credit for this outstanding accomplishment! It is the reason we all feel so lucky to work here and know all of you!!! Together we ALL shine!!!
