USKA will be having homeschool days every Thursday.

Hollywood Music & Dance currently offers class day options at their National City location on Tuesdays. Beginning in November, they will be offering class day options at their Eastlake location as well! The below flyer details the schedule for Thursdays at the Eastlake location.

I am a music teacher with a BA in Music and over 15 years of teaching experience. I offer instruction in piano, voice and guitar. Lessons are from the comfort of my home studio in Rolling Hills Ranch, conveniently located off the 125 freeway at Proctor Valley Road and they are tailored to each individual student (I welcome students from 4 years old to 104 years old!). Students' interests help drive the direction of our music lessons. Some prefer a simple, classical approach, others are extremely motivated to internalize the theory of music, and others desire a more pop, theater, or singer-songwriter angle. I can also help with audition prep, provide recordings for practice or performances, and develop skills in composition and musical scoring. And all the serious business isn't complete without lots of laughter, fun and even musical learning games (especially for the kids!). Recitals are offered twice per year so students have the opportunity to showcase their talents in a friendly environment.

Kids 12 and under enjoy FREE admission at over 40 local museums for the month of October! Including the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla, the Maritime Museum and The Children's Museum in Downtown, the San Diego Model Railroad Museum and the Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park and MUCH more!! With our new system, it is easy to sign up for field trips. Educational Funds will automatically be deducted when registering.

Important things to keep in mind:

• If you have 1 student enrolled, you can use educational funds for 1 parent chaperone.
• If you have 2 or more students enrolled, you can use educational funds for 2 parent chaperones.
• You can NOT use one student's funds for both Parent Chaperones.
• Pay close attention to the ticket date and time you are selecting as some trips include multiple date and time options.
• Each ticket is it's own selection. When selecting a ticket, you will see student and chaperone selections on the same screen. Elect one, hit okay and then add another (Student or Chaperone or Guest). Two separate ticket selections.
