Husky Families,

We have had a great week this week! We made it through Valentine's Day with all the sugar and the kids have been awesome!! We appreciate all the support from everyone with our SchoolStore Fundraiser. Our teachers appreciate your support so much! We hope that this weekend for everyone is a great one and check out our upcoming events below!

Event/Activities Information

Lead Dog and Principal Lunch: This is a monthly meeting for students who have been selected by their teacher to eat with Mrs. Bradley. Each teacher writes why they have been selected and Mrs. Bradley reads these to them and then asks for feedback on how things are going at Hillandale.


Safety Around Water: This is a program conducted by our local YMCA. The students will travel to the pool at the Y three times to learn skills for being safe around water!

STEAM/Science Fair Night: This night our 5th-grade students will be sharing their science fair projects. Our other grade levels will have STEAM activities and experiments available for you and your child to learn together.


Read Across America Week: This week we will have school-wide themes to celebrate our love of reading.

2/28 - Oh, the Places You’ll Go - College and Career day (favorite

college gear or something to represent your future career!)

3/1 - Thing One and Thing Two Tuesday (dress like a twin)

3/2 - Wacky Wednesday (wacky tacky wardrobe)

3/3 - Hats Off to Dr. Seuss (hat day)

3/4 - Fox in Socks Friday- (crazy sock day)


School Improvement Team Meeting: Each month our school improvement team meets to discuss ways to continue to improve the work we do. All families are welcome to join anytime.
