Dear Parents and Students,
Final Report Card:
Final report cards will be mailed by June 11th, but not available in ParentsWeb. To make sure that your child's final report card is not delayed, please make sure that your current address and contact information is correct in ParentsWeb. Please also make sure that all accounts are clear and that athletic equipment, textbooks, and library books are returned in good condition. The last tuition payment for the 12-month plan is due on June 1st with a 10-day grace period. If you have questions about finances, please contact Donna Talley, bookkeeper, at donna.talley@wca-hsv.org or 256.705.8215. The summer hours for Westminster's administrative offices are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All offices will be closed during the week of Memorial Day (May 27-31) and Independence Day (July 1-5).
2019-20 Tuition Payment Reminder:
The first payment for next year is due in July. For your convenience you have the option to make your payment directly to the finance office at the Upper School Campus prior to June 1st if you have elected the annual or semi-annual payment plan. After June 1st all payments should be made directly to SmartTuition. Please keep in mind that the WCA offices will be closed the week of May 27th - 31st.
Spirit Night TONIGHT at Chick-Fil-A!
Athletic News:
Tomorrow night, Friday May 17th, WCA will host St. John Paul II Catholic School in a spring football scrimmage at 7:00 PM. We would love to have you come out and get a preview of the 2019 Wildcats. Cost of admission is $3.00.
The student Corn Hole Tournament begins at 5:30 pm before the game. Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams!
We would like to thank everyone for the amazing support you gave last season, and we hope to continue the tradition this year.

Exam days will be half days. All students must be off campus by 11:45 am each day.
Monday- B and C exams
Tuesday- D and E exams
Wednesday- F and G exams
Thursday- A exam and SLP corrections or makeups
1st exam 8 - 9:30
Break 9:30 - 9:45
2nd exam 9:45 -11:15

- All students' deadline by TOMORROW, Friday, May 17.
Clinic News :
- Students may check-out their over-the-counter medications anytime from now until 12pm on May 23rd. Unless your student has physician orders stating otherwise, a parent must pick up all prescription medicine. Any medication, prescription or over-the-counter, not picked up by 12pm on Thursday, May 23rd, will have to be discarded. Please ask your student to pick up their emergency medications (EpiPen, Inhaler, Glucagon etc.) after their last exam.
- If your student has a doctor appointment during the summer and will need any of the medication forms, you may access them on WCA's website under <Parents & Students <Student Medical Form.
Concert Choir:
Monday, May 20th: Concert Choir needs to be at the Von Braun Civic Center at 4:30 pm for Graduation!

SENIOR CLASS Upcoming Events:
May 8-17: Seniors email Mrs. Childers (Katherine.childers@wca-hsv.org), including the college they will attend so we can send their final transcripts, their cell phone numbers and their
personal email addresses, since they will be without their WCA email in June.
May 20:
- 8:30am Principal’s Senior Breakfast in the Cafeteria – dress casual.
- 10:00am Mandatory Graduation Practice at the North Hall of the VBC. Waldrup will be taking the class graduation picture at 10:00 am at the North Hall. Seniors are to bring what they will be wearing for graduation and their cap/gown/tassel. There will be a place to change clothes at the VBC.
- 4:30 pm Seniors arrive early for graduation.
- 6:00 pm Graduation begins (North Hall of the VBC, Doors will open at 4:00) Parking may be difficult with several graduations occurring at the VBC that evening; please plan accordingly.
May 21: Seniors may begin picking up their diplomas in the Administration Building (front office).
Summer Hours: 9:00 to 1:00 pm, Monday through Thursday; Offices will be closed the week
of Memorial Day May 27-31 and Independence Day July 1-5
June: Final transcripts will be mailed to colleges when all accounts are cleared.
Additional Important Information:
What seniors are to wear to graduation:
Guys wear white dress shirt with black tie, black dress pants, and black shoes with red cap/gown.
Girls wear white dress or white skirt with white blouse and white shoes or white sandals with white cap/gown (Girls be sure your dress/skirt meets dress code).
**Seniors may not decorate the top of their caps for graduation**
Tickets: Each senior will be given 8 reserved seating tickets. These tickets allow 8 family members or friends to sit in the front reserved sections of the North Hall. Overflow guests will have to sit in the seats behind the reserved section. The tickets will be given out at the Principal’s breakfast on May 20. Seats may not be reserved with these tickets until North Hall doors open at 4:00 pm. Any seats reserved during rehearsal will be cleared before the 4:00 pm opening of the North Hall for the ceremony.
Please remember that for a senior to participate in graduation, they must have met all graduation requirements. Grades will be figured on May 17. Seniors who are not eligible to walk at graduation will be given this information by Mrs. Hightower.
