About Terrell Academy

Terrell Academy is a comprehensive K3-12th grade school located in rural community in Dawson, Georgia with students from surrounding counties to include Terrell, Lee, Dougherty, Randolph, Webster, Stewart, and Sumter. We have a diversified economic base.

Grading and Ranking

Terrell Academy does not rank students with the exception of Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Students must have 23 credit hours to be eligible for graduation.

B: 80-89

C: 70-79

F: 69 and below


All dual enrollment courses are awarded 1 quality point on the letter grade for GPA purposes (example an A would calculate as a 5.0 on the GPA scale). A weighted GPA only occurs for those students who have completed Dual Enrollment courses.
