(please note we will not be handing out paper copies of schedules. They will be found on PowerSchool in early August. Students may print one at home, or take a screenshot on their phone.)

Students will be bring their Chromebook with them from the Junior High, so take good care of your device over summer break! All Chromebooks purchased through the school came with a 3 year warranty to last grades 7-9, and then at the end of next year, you can purchase a new device to last you your last 3 years of high school! There will not be Chromebook repairs over the summer, however, we will begin repairs again in the fall. If you have been bringing your own device, and you would like to order a new one, please email Dr. Dunn.

If you need any tech support with your device, WIFI needs, Milford student accounts, etc. Please contact Dr. Dunn at dunn_r@milfordschools.org.

NGC students are permitted to possess personal electronic devices, including cellular, earbuds/headphones, smart-watch, tablets, or other personal connected devices. Furthermore, students bringing electronic devices assume risk of damage, theft, or other loss of items.

While students are in class in the NGC, devices are to remain in the student’s book bag and/or locker, and powered off. Use of such devices is prohibited during class time except under the request and supervision of instructional staff.

Devices may be accessed before school, between classes, during lunch, and after school.

To best support and monitor your child's Ninth Grade year, parents/guardians should have two important accounts, PowerSchool Parent Portal is the tool to monitor grades for your child and Schoology is the tool to monitor day to day announcements, assignments, calendar of due dates, etc. Many students have already reached a level of independence to complete school work by the time they reach high school, whereas others still need your support to be successful. The goal is to balance your support, your child's work ethic, and the NGC staff support to help your child have a successful freshman year! You will receive parent access codes to these two important tools as we get closer to school beginning!

Use Pay Schools to pay for lunches, school fees, sport participation fees, and more! You can also check for and pay outstanding balances. As a reminder, in order to participate in graduation as a senior, students must have a $0.00 fee balance by the end of their senior year.

We encourage you to have these forms filled out over the summer prior to the beginning of next school year. If you wish to drop off medication and permission forms for next school year, the clinic will be open beginning August 9th , 2023 daily from 8am-2pm.
