Christian Dietary Laws
Billy Stewart B1/B3
Overview
Some Christians do not follow any dietary laws, but some do have restrictions such as Catholic and Orthodox Christians. Many Christians fast on Good Friday and during Lent. Also, they eat fish instead of meat on Fridays. Some Christians also participate in the Holy Communion, a ritual where bread and wine are consumed to symbolize the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
