OSSB Women’s Goalball Wrapup, 2021

We were very fortunate to be able to have goalball this year. Although we were not able to travel, the OSSB Women’s Goalball team enjoyed time to scrimmage, keep up their skills, and have some fun. Senior, Emily Wilson, had her best year, yet. She showed power and accuracy in her offense and a calm confidence in her defense. Emily should consider playing at the next level. Junior, Maddie is showing excellent blocking skills, while junior, Kurtacee, is showing great skills in offense. These two are going to be our powerhouse next year. Returning players Sumaya, and Sara are also continuing to sharpen their skills. I look forward to seeing them all compete next school year. Byata joined late in the season, but as a 7th grader, is already showing great skills. I am extremely excited to see this team return for the 2021-2022 Goalball season! -Coach D.Grim

Also pictured from the 2019 team are Jayla Redd on her hands and knees and Autumn Radcliffe kneels while holding a goalball in front of her.
