Team Info- There were three of us working on the team. All of us are seventh graders here at Colleyville Middle School.
Objective- Our objective was to fly supplies to Tacloban, Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan.
Our Team Goal- The goal of our relief mission is to help the people and society in the Philippines.
Accomplishments
We delivered 3,492 Cubic feet of materials
We delivered a total of 28,450 pounds of materials
And we delivered-
- 27 Medical Supplies
- 1 Portable Hospital (Sent in three parts)
- 5 Food Packages
- 4 Clothing and Blankets
- 2 Mosquito Supplies
- 3 Refrigerated Medical Chests
- 1 box of Miscellaneous Supplies
- And 5 Packages of Water
Time it took to Deliver Supplies-
It took our team 32 Hours and 7 minutes to take the Supplies form Houston Hobby Airport in Houston, TX, to Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport, in Tacloban, Philippines.
Our Teams Accomplishments-
Our team did not have any major accomplishments such as shortest flight times and most packaged, but we did find a way to get as much supplies as we could to the Philippines, in the shortest time we could. And, yes, we did complete our goal.
This is our flight plan around the Earth
These are pictures of how we packed the Crates we sent.
