Gustav Mahler was born July 7, 1860 and died May 18, 1911. He conducted most in the Romantic period and was most famous for symphonies 1 through 10, Kindertotenlieder. His life as a child was not very happy, his parents would fight a lot and his younger brother died at the age of 13. He would also get in trouble at school for daydreaming
