mass reflections
During Mass, Father Tim responded to the Gospel telling us that we should get to know Jesus. We should always listen to His word. God created us, so we should get to know Him as He knows us. - Leah
During Mass, the Homily and Gospel were about getting to know ourselves and God. This meant to me that we shouldn't just follow Jesus not knowing who we are. We should learn to know God and get to know ourselves, so that we will one day receive God's great blessing in Heaven. - Giovanni
The Homily was about how we should know God better, like getting to know your family. This would help you know your history and where you come from. Father Tim told us some things he did as a child after church with his family. Some the ways he learned about himself was looking at family photos, discussing family history, and talking about where the family came from. This all means that Jesus got his disciples thinking when Jesus says, "But who do you say I am?" - Ali

"Lord watch over the officers or our nation and protect them from danger and evil. Be with them as they navigate new scenes, hard calls, and most importantly, bring them home safely to those that love them."
