Carpool Procedures
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve and refine our afternoon dismissal procedures. We are working towards making carpool a quicker and more positive experience for ALL of us! :) We hope that each day this week has shown an improvement for you and your family.
2nd Grade will continue to dismiss after clubs in the cafeteria. THIS means, all 2nd grade families should wait in the carpool line to pick up at 4:20!
If your 2nd grader also has a sibling in Pre-K, Kindergarten, or 1st grade... they will be dismissing at 4:20 in the elementary hallway. This means, you will need to park at the end of our hallway (by the basketball goals) and come in to pick up your children! They will NOT be upstairs! We have informed the students, and they will all be where they need to be! Please make sure you go to the right location to pick up your child!
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me!

Uniform Reminder
I am still seeing a few uniform issues in our classroom. Please make sure you read through the uniform policy carefully to ensure your child is following the school dress code each day. Next week, I will begin sending home reminders for students who are not in dress code.
Home Visit Program
Home visits are a special program offered by FSAPS to help build the paren, student, and teacher relationship. This is an opportunity for your child's teachers to visit and get a closer look at their life at home. This helps a teacher to know more about each of his/her students, and build a strong relationship between school and family. These are optional, but if you would be interested in planning a home visit for your child, please see the information below.
How Can You Schedule a Home Visit?
This process is very simple. Please send an e-mail to our home visit coordinator, Mrs. Unal, at junal@fultonscienceacademy.org. In that email, please provide three available dates for your child's home visit. We will get back to you to confirm a date. At least two teachers will be together for home visits; specific names/subjects will be dependent upon teacher availability.
For any questions you have about this program, please send an e-mail to junal@fultonscienceacademy.org.
Please note: the best times to schedule a home visit are weekdays after 5:00pm, and during the weekends, except Sunday mornings.
