Genius Hour – Solving Real Life Problems
During Genius Hour our Year 5 children set out to solve real-life problems impacting our school, such as over-flowing bins, flooding drains in winter, and birds eager to share our lunch! The future is in good hands.
Sustaining our Local Community
Our school’s Waste Wise program aims to demonstrate how our actions and involvement can positively influence the local environment and the lives of community members. For our Waste Wise Audit, we went through the contents of our school bins and had an expert help quantify our impact over a year. 57% of our school's waste is food. Here are things we can all work on to reduce our waste.
