Support the library on August 19 by purchasing books at the Upper Skagit Library Foundation Annual Book Sale. During Cascade Days peruse our tables and tables of gently used books. Check out the variety of book genres and find the perfect titles for yourself, friends, and family. Your dollars directly support library programming - buying books from our sale makes our library and community stronger.

Marblemount Market

Sun. August 13, 12 - 4pm

Visit the Library at the Marblemount Market located at Marblemount Community Hall. Stop by our booth to check out books, buy used books, apply for a card, and learn more about our services and programs. At the market you'll find music, food vendors, handcrafted items, and fresh farm veggies and fruit.


Fri. August 4, 1-3pm, Drop in


Mark your calendars for Ozobots, part of our STEM Series, August 4, 1-3pm. Drop in and play with cool robots at the library. Code with color and light to program the bot with tabletop directions.

Silly Saturdays

August 5, 10am - 3pm, our final Silly Saturday of the Summer!

Kids, Saturdays are Silly! Find 5 silly things in the library and win a small prize. Stop in anytime between open hours (10am to 3pm) and search the library from top to bottom for unusual a mystery.

At the end of the day on Saturday, August 26, we'll be doing our Grand Prize Drawings for the Summer Reading Program! Have your kids turn in their reading logs and complete the summer reading challenges to get extra tickets in the drawings. Two Kindle Fires will be awarded, as well as a variety of other special prizes. You do not need to be present to win.
