Raider Update
August 30, 2022
Message from the Superintendent
Hello Raider Families!
The 2022 school year is here! Our staff has been hard at work getting everything set, from buildings to student learning experiences, and I am confident we will have an extremely strong start to the school year! We are excited to welcome over 45 new staff to the district. And, thanks to community support, facility improvements to each of our buildings continue.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to your building principal, counselors, or teachers with questions. We want to ensure that all students are seen, supported, and served well. Keeping students at the heart of all we do, together we can care, empower, and achieve more. I wish you and your students a fantastic 2022-23 school year!
Bob McDowell, Ed.D.

Transportation Routing Information
Transportation routing information will be available on August 17th in the Campus Portal by clicking “More” and then “Bus Information.” Please remember to check routing information again closer to the start of the school year as minor adjustments may be made. If your pickup or dropoff location is not accurate, please contact your child’s Building Office.
Just a reminder that the district had an opt-out of transportation for students in grades K-8 and an opt-in for transportation for students in grades 9-12. This information has been updated in the Campus Portal. If your information is not accurately reflected, please email jseubert@isd200.org.
The walking distance for elementary students is a .75 mile radius from the school and a 1.75 mile radius for secondary students. Detailed maps of the walking areas are available on the district’s website.
Courtesy Bus Routes
The School Board approved changes to the courtesy routes beginning with the 22-23 school year. Historical stops have changed significantly, please see the updated map on the district’s website. Courtesy routes are available for secondary students who live within the walking distance of the Middle School or High School. Courtesy route riders will be assigned to a regular bus route and will no longer arrive earlier or leave later than other students. Students must register by August 12th to ride a courtesy route by completing the 22-23 Courtesy Route Registration Form. Courtesy bus routing information will be available for registered students in Campus Portal on August 17th.
For questions regarding transportation routing, please contact Hastings Bus Company at 651-437-1888.
