Personal Statement Writing Workshop
This workshop is led by a UW Bothell admissions counselor highlighting critical elements of quality personal statements, as well as common pitfalls to avoid. Non-UWB transfer students are welcomed to attend.

Involvement Fair
Looking for ways to get connected outside of classes? We have clubs! They would love to meet you at the fall Involvement Fair. Make new friends, be active in our campus community, and connect with other students who share similar interests to yours. It all starts at the Involvement Fair. Plus, we will have lots of free snacks and drinks to share.

Haunted Corn Maze
Take a frightful Friday night field trip with your friends from International Programs! We will take a shuttle bus out to a nearby farm, where danger lurks around every dark corner of corn. Cost is $5. Please sign up in advance at International Programs.

The 28th Annual Students of Color Conference
The Center for Culture, Inclusion, and Community (“The Center”) is pleased to announce that applications for the Annual Students of Color Conference are now available.
The 28th Annual Students of Color Conference, “RADICAL LOVE: ACTIVISM IGNITED” will be held in Yakima, WA Thursday, April 12th to Saturday, April 14th, 2018.
The Students of Color Conference brings together over 900 students from 34 community and technical colleges across the state to discuss topics that include ethnic and racial identity development, academic success, skills for promoting social justice, and intercultural communications.
All registration costs, accommodations and transportation will be covered by Cascadia for those students selected to attend.
Eligible students must be enrolled at Cascadia for Winter and Spring 2018 quarters to participate in the conference.

NEW CLUB: Society of Women Engineers
The Society of Women Engineers seeks to unite Cascadia College’s female students who are majoring in science, technology, engineering, or math. We hope to inspire female students to pursue their dreams of studying or working within a STEM-related field, and apply themselves passionately to fully unleashing their potential in the male dominated engineering world. We aim to foster an environment where female students can come together to provide and receive encouragement in their STEM interests; a place where they will be seen and treated as equals.
