Principal's Message
Sunny Heights Families,
We are very excited to welcome back students beginning Tuesday, January 19th! The return of students will be a breath of fresh air in the building for sure. We do understand that there remain and will continue anxiety about return to in-person instruction. The staff and students will continue to practice mask wearing, social distancing, sanitizing, and all other District S.A.F.E. guidelines that were in place prior to break. It is very important that families report any positive student COVID cases to the school, inform the school if your child is home due to close contact, as well as remind their students about following safety precautions at school. We are all in this together and must work closely to keep EVERYONE safe.
Also, please be sure to send your student back with their devices (iPads) including chargers on Tuesday. If your child's device is damaged or not working properly, please inform your child's teacher.
Monday we observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and the impact his work still has today, now perhaps more than ever. We will continue conversations about how we too can impact our world in positive ways, while also learning about our history.
I hope everyone is able to enjoy the 3-day weekend. Please stay safe, healthy, and I look forward to seeing many of you soon!
Your Proud Principal,
Bart Lewis

ALL STUDENTS - ATTENDANCE
For the 2020-2021 school year, Warren Township has transitioned to a new student information system called Synergy allowing our parents and caregivers to have improved access to school information through the parent portal called ParentVUE. We are aware that at this time some students’ attendance records are reflecting students are absent, when in fact they were present. This is mostly the case for our students who are attending school VIRTUALLY on application days or in the VIRTUAL opinion full-time. We want to assure you that teachers are keeping accurate attendance records and that we are working to correct attendance records for all our students.
