2nd Grade PBL Presentations
Mrs. Sanchez's class had the opportunity to research the needs of taking care of a class plant and pet to determine which one would be best for a classroom! They worked together to create a Google Slides presentation and presented their findings to Ms. Ford, Mrs. Sanchez, and Mr. Kyle.
Multi-Age P.E. Tumbling Routines
Miss Karraker's students created their very own tumbling routine as a group in P.E. class! Tumbling is the foundation of gymnastics and helps students strengthen their muscles, work on balance, and build stamina.

A Look Ahead
CTP Testing 6/4-6/8
As we near the end of the school year, our first grade through fourth grade students will be taking the Comprehensive Testing Program from Monday, June 4th to Friday, June 8th.
The Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP) is a rigorous online assessment provided by ERB (Educational Records Bureau) for high achieving students in areas such as reading, listening, vocabulary, writing and mathematics. Verbal and quantitative reasoning subtests are also part of the CTP beginning in Grade 3. The CTP helps compare content specific, curriculum-based performance to the more conceptual knowledge base found in reasoning tests.
It is important that students are well-rested and arrive to school on time. Be sure to pack a nourishing snack and lunch, along with a full water bottle.
We are confident that everyone will do their best!
Keep calm
and
do your best on that test!

Parent Resources
Mandatory School App
We want to ensure that all of our families have downloaded our mandatory FREE school app and that they have enabled push notifications. This important tool allows the schools to send instant notifications to our parents and proved to be very successful in evacuating our students last week.
If you already have the app, but are not receiving notifications directly to your phone that pop-up like text messages, please follow these steps to ensure your notification settings are correct (pictures below as well):
1) Open the app and click the three lines in the top corner (left for Android and right for iPhone)
2) Scroll to the bottom and click "My Alerts"
3) Make sure "Enable Push Notifications" is turned ON (the slider button will be green if they are on)
4) If you would like to receive notices for only your child's campus, you may turn off the other two campuses, but make sure to leave the weekly and daily notices on so you receive school calendar reminders.
CLICK HERE from your phone or tablet to download the app today!
