Principal's Message

Dear Jordan/Jackson Families,

Next week we will begin the process of distributing your student’s desk and cubby belongings. Designated times to pick up these bagged items can be found below. The schedule indicates the pick-up time based on your student’s homeroom teacher.

We will also be collecting library books. If you have any other items that need to be returned to the school, please place them in a bag and label with your student’s name and homeroom teacher. A staff member will be available to collect these items from you.

Our goal is to manage the distribution in an orderly manner while maintaining and respecting social distancing guidelines along with the updated State directive regarding a mask or face covering.

  • Upon arrival, you will be directed to either the walker loop (the lower road) or the bus loop (the upper road).

  • When you reach the distribution area, you will be asked the name of your student(s) and their teacher. We will retrieve your families’ bag(s) and place them in your vehicle. Please remain in your car while a staff member retrieves your families’ bags.

Bags will be distributed at a specific time based on your child(s) homeroom teacher. For families with multiple children attending Jordan/Jackson, please come during the time slot of your oldest child. For example, if you have a child in Mrs. Ewick’s class (Grade 3) and Ms. Cogan’s class (Grade 5), your designated time is Tuesday, June 9, 1pm-4pm with Ms. Cogan’s class. We will accommodate your entire family at that time. Library books will be collected separately, along with any items you are returning to school which should be placed in a bag and labeled with your student’s name and teacher.
