MTSS Presenter: Dr. Randy Sprick

Safe and Civil Schools

MTSS & Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports

Dr. Sprick, creator of the CHAMPS program and founder of the Save and Civil Schools Organization, will be presenting an overview of MTSS and the connection to behavioral supports. His dynamic presentation will force schools to take a closer look at their climate and culture and how it is directly tied to student achievement. Schools will receive the information needed to decide if PBIS should be built into their school improvement plans for the 2015-16 school year. Follow-up sessions will be provided, at a later date, by the ISD for those districts interested in the implementation.
