Principal Update
Week of December 19th
I am glad to be back. Thank you for the thoughts and well wishes while I battled bronchitis.
My wish for each of you is that you have a wonderful holiday with family and friends. I hope you take the time to read a good book, watch a classic movie, and snuggle with the ones you love most.
Thank you for everything you do to make the lives of our students better! I love this quote. "I touch the future. I teach."
Christie McAuliffe
A very special thank you goes out to the following Gladiators:
Dy English, Mary Catherine Miller, Dina Genco, Trey McDaniel, Kelli Ferment, Lisa Taylor, Kaitlyn Marr, and Karen Kilburn who have helped with morning and/or afternoon duty during extreme weather.
Shout Out
Thank you to the following teachers for opening your classrooms to parents/guardians during our Math Day: Michele Montgomery, Iris Wilson, Hope Brazil, Tara Gilmore, Brittney Linn, Bonnie Poore, Delore Idehenre, Brianna Barnette and Thomasina Curenton. You all did an awesome job and our parents were very appreciative. Inviting parents into the classrooms, gives parents the opportunity to see strategies that they might use at home as well exposing parents to the vocabulary that we're using at school.

Please register for R2S online course by today. Information about the course is in the e-mail that Kimenya forwarded to you yesterday.
